Our mission is to inspire Christ-like change through outdoor adventure, authentic relationships, and Biblical truth. Our staff are passionate about providing an environment that is safe and points guests back to the mission. We are looking for ministry-minded individuals to join our team and help further our mission. We encourage all applicants to carefully consider our mission statement before applying.
The Employee Experience
We operate year-round. We have guests on the premises almost every day of the year. Our busiest season runs during the summer, but we have many guests on the property during the fall and spring. Then winter tends to be slower, but you can still expect to be working full-time. Your day-to-day will be largely determined by your department; however, if you are working onsite, you can expect to be asked to help in various roles to meet guest needs, no matter what your job title is.
You will be living and working alongside a community of believers. While we host staff events, we also encourage staff to pursue building community with each other outside of work. We hope that living and working at Glorieta will be a rich and rewarding experience professionally, personally, and spiritually.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal Glorieta employee loves Jesus and is excited to live and work in a community of other believers, has a passion for the outdoors, and is looking for a job that makes a positive impact on the world.
Room and Board
We offer staff housing at no cost for all staff and families. The size and type of housing will depend on the employee's needs and our availability at the time of hire. Housing also includes all utilities and basic appliances.
Summer staff will live in shared housing with other staff from their department.
Employee Perks
In addition to onsite housing, full-time employees are offered competitive benefits, including:
- Medical cost-sharing program at no cost to the employee, employer-funded HRA, and pharmacy benefit plan
- Starting 20 days of PTO annually, plus VTO, sick leave, and more
- Retirement - After 1 year of employment, employer contributes 4% NEC and up to 4% matched
- Camp program and retail discounts, including a free session of camp annually, friends and family lodging options and use of camp facilities for personal gatherings
- On-site meals for employee and family during the summer and special occasions
- This is not a complete list of employee benefits, but a general overview
Getting Here and Getting Around
We are located right off of I-25, just 20 minutes north of Santa Fe. Having a personal vehicle is recommended as there is not a lot of public transportation in the area.
For Fun
We are an excellent location for outdoor enthusiasts. Glorieta is known for its excellent mountain biking trails and hosts many events throughout the year. We have lots of activities on-site, including multiple zip lines, a waterfront with a blob and slides, among other activities, a bouldering wall, rappelling off the roof of our big chapel, drift trikes, and miles and miles of hiking trails. We are also only 20 minutes from the city if you want to go explore the culturally rich history of Santa Fe. We are just down the road from the Pecos River, which offers camping, hiking, fishing, and beautiful views.
