• Triage helpdesk tickets quickly and accurately with detailed notes.

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Maintenance Technician Level II is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and doing repairs within Silver Baron Lodge. 


RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and various texturing repairs 
• Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and ground care in the winter and landscaping tasks in summer  
• Troubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and three phase electrical panels and circuits 
• Paint interiors and exteriors of buildings 
• Remove/install faucets, seats, drain seals, toilets, and auto flushers 
• Troubleshoot and repair drainage problems, water leaks, and lack of water 
• Woodworking on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs, and doors 
• Other duties as assigned 


QUALIFICATIONS: 
• Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills and be able to effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the following: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, woodwork, drywall, and various texturing 
• CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot tub chemicals, preferred  
• Able to work on ladders and scaffoldings, use power tools and equipment, and operate company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions 
• Able to work with various chemicals, including pool chemicals, concrete sealers, and painting products 
• Familiarity with OSHA PPE protocols preferred 
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting and strenuous work such as snow removal 
• Able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays 
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions 
• Must have valid driver’s license

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Reservation Agents are responsible for reserving winter Skier Services products over the phone, including ski school classes, ski rentals, childcare, and private lessons.

PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide a smooth skiing surface and consistent snow density and distribution in order to enhance the guests’ enjoyment and maximize their safety.  
RESPONSIBILITIES:  
• Competently and conscientiously perform the required vehicle and equipment inspections and servicing, recording results accurately and completely  
• Safe operation of equipment  
• Demonstrate a complete familiarity with Deer Valley’s terrain and grooming routes  
• Consistently provide above average or better results using any of Deer Valley’s grooming equipment on all Deer Valley terrain  
• Successfully execute assignments effectively and efficiently without direct supervision  
• Provide effective guidance to other operators when designated to lead a group assignment  
• Successfully execute specialized assignments: i.e., maze and ramp work, special plow jobs, skier access, winch operations, etc.

• Ensure that a clean supply of the necessary soap, toilet paper, tissues, and hand towels is effectively maintained in all restrooms 
• Clean and mop all restrooms 
• Safely ensure the care of equipment and the proper use of cleaning chemicals 
• Receive and stock items delivered for the janitorial and stewarding department 
• Maintain clean, neat and sanitary conditions in guest space and the back of the house by making regular rounds cleaning walls and floors, cleaning and organizing shelving, and emptying trash containers  
• Ensure hand wash stations are clean and equipped with soap and paper towels 
• Perform scheduled cleaning of toilets, stripping, buffing and waxing floors, cleaning carpets, etc. 
• Supervise and work along staff and complete necessary paperwork, reviews, and checklists  
• Assist with cleaning Deer Valley owned stores in Snow Park Lodge including the Deer Valley Plaza building 

• Set up the night restaurant and turn it over at the end of the night at Snow Park 

• Set up for banquets and events held in Snow Park area
• Ensure dock aera is clean and organized and put boxes in the bailer 
• Clean the trash compacter as needed 
• Other duties as assigned
