Cottam’s Ski Shops is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and outdoors-minded Ski Rental Technicians for the 2026–2027 winter season!

Founded in 1976, Cottam’s is a family-owned and operated New Mexico ski shop celebrating 50 years in business. For five decades, we’ve helped skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels get out on the mountain with quality rental equipment, knowledgeable service, and a friendly, welcoming experience.

No previous ski shop experience is required. We provide hands-on training in ski and snowboard equipment, boot fitting, binding adjustment, equipment tuning, and rental operations. Team members will also complete training to earn a national ski binding certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Help guests select and rent the appropriate ski and snowboard equipment

• Fit ski and snowboard boots for comfort and proper sizing

• Adjust and test ski bindings according to industry standards

• Mount, tune, and maintain ski and snowboard equipment

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service during busy rental periods

• Check rental equipment in and out and keep equipment organized

• Help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist customers with retail merchandise

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and inviting

• Organize rental equipment and storage areas

• Help transport equipment and supplies when needed

• Assist with snow removal from decks, entrances, and walkways

• Pitch in wherever needed as part of a small, team-oriented operation
