At Cascade Lodge, we're looking for a motivated, hands-on Head Housekeeper who takes pride in creating welcoming spaces and helping guests make unforgettable memories.

Our historic lodge is a special place, and we believe the little details make all the difference. From cozy guest rooms to charming cabins, every space should feel clean, comfortable, and ready for the next North Shore adventure. This is more than a housekeeping job. It's an opportunity to take ownership, lead a close-knit team, and play an important role in the guest experience at one of the North Shore's beloved lodging destinations.

What You'll Do

Lead by Example

• Guide, train, and support a team of 3–6 housekeepers, creating a positive, collaborative work environment.

• Work alongside your team in daily cleaning operations, leading with energy, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done.

• Coordinate daily assignments, adjust to changing priorities, and help ensure every room is guest-ready.

• Step in when needed to support the team during busy days or unexpected staffing changes.

Keep Our Lodge Looking Its Best

• Take ownership of the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our guest rooms, cabins, and shared spaces.

• Organize and lead seasonal deep-cleaning projects and property-wide housekeeping improvements.

• Keep kitchens stocked, furniture properly arranged, and every guest space thoughtfully prepared.

• Identify minor maintenance needs, handle simple fixes, and communicate larger issues to management.

• Maintain clean, organized supply rooms and ensure the team has everything it needs to succeed.

Help Make the Magic Happen

• Work closely with our Innkeeper, Lodge Manager, and room inspection team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

• Manage housekeeping supplies, inventory, schedules, and operational records.

• Help coordinate the cleaning and preparation of employee housing between seasonal team members.

• Occasionally assist at the front desk, getting to know our guests and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere that makes Cascade Lodge special.

Who We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you're someone who notices the little things, enjoys staying active, and finds satisfaction in making spaces look their absolute best.

Ideally, you bring:

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably with some leadership or supervisory responsibility.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities.

• A positive, hands-on leadership style and genuine appreciation for teamwork.

• Independence, initiative, and the ability to solve problems without needing constant direction.

• A friendly, professional attitude and pride in creating exceptional guest experiences.

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, particularly during our busy summer and fall seasons.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who cares about the property, the people they work with, and the guests who come here to experience the North Shore.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License and their Vehicle (housing is 7 miles away)

• Ability to work with alone and as a part of team, and maintain a high level of performance

• Customer-oriented and friendly

• Working quickly without compromising quality

• Knowledge of English language

• High school degree
