Card Sound Golf Club is a private golf club located in beautiful Key Largo, Florida. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional member experience through outstanding service, attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Front of House Food & Beverage Manager to join our team during our busy season.

Position Summary

The Front of House Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for leading all front-of-house dining operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This individual will oversee service staff, maintain high standards of hospitality, coordinate daily operations, and work closely with the Executive Chef and management team to deliver memorable dining experiences.

This is a seasonal position running from October 1 through May 13, with employee housing provided in Key Largo.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of all front-of-house food and beverage outlets.

• Recruit, train, schedule, mentor, and supervise service staff.

• Foster a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork.

• Ensure consistently high levels of member satisfaction through exceptional service.

• Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and presentation throughout all dining areas.

• Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service execution.

• Oversee reservations, table assignments, and special events.

• Assist with planning and executing club events, tournaments, and member functions.

• Monitor labor costs while maintaining exceptional service standards.

• Manage inventory of front-of-house supplies and coordinate beverage needs.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

• Address member concerns promptly and professionally.

• Lead by example, remaining visible and engaged during service periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of front-of-house management experience in a private club, luxury resort, fine dining, or upscale hospitality environment.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-service environment.

• Experience with POS systems and reservation software preferred.

• Knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and service etiquette.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season.

• Florida food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain).
