Catering to a diverse group of campers and staff, we are committed to excellence in camping and building up our staff and campers with opportunities for personal growth. Alumni from all across the USA and around the world talk with pride about their wonderful memories and the great times at Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert.
Why Do We Do It?
It’s simple... for the kids. Our mission is to provide life-changing summers by helping kids grow mentally, physically, spiritually and socially.
- Who Are The Campers? Our campers and staff come from virtually every state and from around the world, providing a comfortable yet diverse community that’s perfect for lifelong friendships.
- What is a “Traditional Camp” When we say traditional, we mean that we focus on each camper as a whole, developing character and physical skills through a wide variety of activities - not just one specialty. Our campers know our creeds, codes and values and live by them.
- Each camp employs approximately 100 seasonal staff members looking to make a difference in the life of a child, while having an experience like no other... just like you!
- Each camp offers over 40 different activities giving each camper and staff member a chance to take risks and grow.
The Employee Experience
Our commitment to excellence runs beyond our camper programming. Here at Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert we are dedicated to the growth and facilitation of our staff. To helping them meet professional and personal goals while having a blast and working hard.
Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert are premier, residential summer camps in the Midwest. Our camps offer more than 40 water and land activities and remain two of the oldest summer camps in the U.S. We have a tradition of hiring top-notch collegiate athletes, coaches, teachers and skilled instructors, passionate about their activities from across the globe. Our staff always deliver quality care, opportunities, and programming to the campers.
Our camps are “skill-based” we use that term to describe the activity experience. Campers work toward skill development in each of the areas they choose. While you are teaching and leading the campers, working as a positive role model, you are teaching them social skills, community living, and group communication. The opportunity to be a positive influence to children and youth for three months of the year, is life affirming, challenges you daily, and encourages you to be better, more confident, and rounded.
We try to take care of our staff the best we can, with down time from the campers and staff only events. Highly competitive camp salaries, opportunities to travel with free local and regional area shuttles. We have staff activities every three days, and camp sponsored off-site events for staff every week.
We are looking for staff members committed to the challenge, individual growth and to the kids... that’s what it’s all about.

Getting Here and Getting Around
We pick up staff from MSP (Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport). Staff are also welcome to drive to camp and keep their cars on site, so they have flexibility of what they would like to do on time off. We'll help you with some travel/gas money, too.
Spending a summer (or many) in the Brainerd Lakes Area of Northern Minnesota, (Affectionately referred to as the "BLA") removes you from the everyday. Here, " Up North" we ride ourselves in taking the time to be present, outside. On our 800 acres, we are intentional about growth through activities. On site, campers choose from 40-60 activities every day.
We are located 15 minutes away from the summer, recreation towns of Brainerd-Baxter, Minnesota. We provide shuttle services into town, activity opportunities at camp for staff, and host all-camp staff "fun nights".
Each summer, staff have the opportunity to ride horses, water-ski, take camping trips, see a baseball game, climb, go to a traditional County Fair, dance, photograph and explore.
