Boomerang Riding Adventures is looking for a wrangler 3 to 4 days a week to join the herd!!
Our herd consists of 17 saddle horses and are a mix of mustangs and quarter horses. We’re located in Vail, AZ, within Colossal Cave Mountain Park, and we guide 1 hour rides. We are a small but mighty operation with plenty of room for growth.
Horse experience and current certification in both First Aid and CPR are required for this position. You must be able to pass a background check
Job Description is as follows:
Catching and feeding the entire herd each morning.
Providing grain and supplements as needed.
Feeding throughout the day as needed as well as daily PM feedings.
Cleaning pens prior to guest arrival and throughout the day as needed.
Cleaning and managing water troughs.
Grooming, tacking and untacking all horses being used for guest trail rides each day.
Guiding up to six guests on 1HR rides in the mountain park up to six times/day.
Offering five star customer service and an enjoyable experience for our guests.
Maintaining the well being of our entire herd.
Position starts October 1st and runs to May 15th. There is an opportunity for long-term employment that can be discussed if there is interest.
PREFER SOMEONE TO LIVE ON-SITE
RV site is available (to live on-site with your own RV) - will discuss details.

Boomerang Riding Adventures
We are a small family run horseback riding business. We have a very sweet and happy herd of 17 saddle horses and two young Percherons. We offer guided horseback rides throughout Colossal Cave Mountain Park in Vail, AZ. Our summer is spent further North in Oracle AZ, where it's a little bit cooler. We work with the YMCA of Southern AZ as their horseback riding partner, guiding rides for kids.

- Our winter location offers two RV spaces at the job site. Utilities included are water, electric, internet. We have laundry facilities on site. Our summer location at the YMCA camp offers bunk rooms, or an RV site. Camp food is available to our wranglers while camp is in session. There are laundry facilitles at camp as well.
