Big Sky Resort is located in the Township of Big Sky, a small unincorporated town located in Southwest Montana with a permanent population of about 3,000 people. Big Sky is about half way between West Yellowstone and Bozeman. Bozeman, a mid-size college town, which has major shopping centers, restaurants, and a great downtown area is approximately 50 miles from Big Sky Resort.
