Work Hard, Play Hard at Mesa Verde National Park!
Mesa Verde National Park is located in Southwestern Colorado, near the “Four Corners” of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. Open from April to October, the Far View Lodge offers 150 lodge rooms, food court, espresso bar, and the park’s largest retail store. Spruce Tree Terrace hosts a 3-level patio grill with retail. Morefield Village welcomes campers to a 265-site campground and services.
In 1978, Mesa Verde National Park was named a World Heritage Site in recognition of exceptional archaeological relevance – including spectacular cliff dwellings tucked into the sandstone alcoves of its steep-walled canyons. Ancestral Puebloans (aka Anasazi) built these fascinating cliff dwellings in the late 12th and 13th centuries.
About Aramark Mesa Verde

(If you're familiar with Mesa Verde and are ready to submit your application for the upcoming season, click here. Remember to check back often as additional positions are posted!)
Mesa Verde National Park is the nation’s largest archaeological preserve with over 4000 sites and is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park’s rich history and culture are reflected in the spectacular cliff dwellings and mesa-top pueblo sites occupied from approximately 500 A.D. through 1300 A.D. 100-mile vistas into 4 states from the highest elevations (8250 feet) are a must see!
The elevation is good to know and the history is rich and beautiful for sure... but here is the scoop... this is summer camp on steroids with a paycheck. Our motto is Work Hard, Play Hard. This property is for the outdoor junkie (or someone wanting to be!). The Four Corners has world-class hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, rafting, and kayaking. Not to mention riverside breweries, distilleries, and even a cidery. This location is as extreme as you want it to be and may leave a mark. We're not talking about skinned knees. The people you meet here will be with you forever.
Aramark Destinations is committed to the safety of our teams, clients, and customers. We continue to implement procedures and policies across our locations to keep everyone safe and healthy. The Employee Experience
Living and working in Colorado's San Juan Mountain range is an experience like you have never had before.
Our summer staff is as diverse as it gets. You will meet people starting their first job, interns adding practical hours to their college transcripts, traveling international students working to pay for their US travel experience, local folks who are looking for something to do until the ski lifts open back up, and RV'ers or retired professionals who are looking for adventure. What they all have in common is they work hard, love the Southwest, and all the beauty it holds.
The area is remote, so if you are accustomed to the sounds and accessibility of city living with the ability to catch a ride on every block, this would not be for you.
If you are a hiker, mountain biker, or wilderness adventurer looking for that hidden gem, Mesa Verde is what you're looking for! We can tell you where to find a hidden waterfall or the natural hot spring located just off the trail. With this Southwest adventure, you will make memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
You will be able to work April - October and provide the kind of guest experience that will have our visitors returning to us again and again! Our happiest team members are here to have fun, make money, and know they will be working hard. Most of our team lives on the property and are able to walk away with money to buy a car, pay into a student loan, or take a month off to travel.
If you think you are up to the challenge, then apply below to become a part of the team this summer!
Room and Board
Employee housing is available for around $50 per week. We have couples housing, group bunkhouse, and RV slots with full hookups at the base of the mountain. There is a kitchen, laundry house, shower house for employee use. Our recreation room will be remodeled for the spring 2022 season! At the top of the mountain is a women's dorm with restrooms and laundry facilities in the same building.
The wifi is spotty. These mountains are brutal for wifi signals however we do provide it. AT&T has been the best for cell service. Please check with your current provider for service in this area.
There are free employee shuttles that take employees to and from work and also go to town and back a few times a week. Free airport shuttles are available to Durango or Cortez upon request, with 48-hour advance notice required.
It should be fun to go to work! To help with that experience, we provide employee appreciation events like holiday celebrations, horseback riding, stand-up paddle (SUP) rentals at the nearby lakes, and river tubing trips. In addition, we offer free tours to our team within the park. There are miles and miles of hiking trails for you to enjoy as well. Employee break meals are at a reduced rate. When your friends or family visit we also offer discounts on lodging. While off the clock, there are also meal and retail discounts.
