Along with the serving and service support team, bartenders at Tips Up work to serve consistently excellent beverages, and food to guests; provide impeccable hospitality to each of our clients, working specifically with each individual need to curate the best experience possible.
Tips Up operates a weighted points-based Tip Pool.
FOH = 97% of all daily gratuity. BOH = 3% of all daily gratuity.
Bartenders and Servers earn equal points in the daily tip pool. Service Support earn a lesser value. Closing bartenders will earn a greater point than standard bartending and serving shifts, given the bar at times closes around 2AM during the peak winter season.

Food Handlers & Alcohol Handlers Certification in the state of Montana
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a bartender in a high-volume, quick-service restaurant.
Sanitation, Hygiene, and Safety
Maintains sanitation to Department of Health standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
Maintains and strictly abides by state sanitation/health regulations and Tips Up requirements and procedures.
Maintains complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; uses equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely.
Inspects the cleanliness and organization of the line and workstations; rectifies any deficiencies.
Inspects the cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring everything complies with standards.
Informs manager on duty immediately of any DOH or OSHA/workplace safety violations.
Maintains proper storage procedures as specified by Department of Health requirements.

Consistently executes food, beverage, service, and hospitality that aligns with the brand.
