Location: Highland Center, Bretton Woods, NH
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Head Housekeeper
AMC is seeking seasonal housekeeping lodge Crew for the Highland Center. This entry level position works in the housekeeping department and has a focus on positive guest service. Housekeepers ensure that guests visiting Highland Center feel at home in a clean well cared for lodge nestled in Crawford Notch.
What You’ll be Doing at AMC
Assisting guests and visitors in a positive manner.
Cleaning and sanitizing all guest-facing areas and some staff areas.
Setting up and breaking down conference rooms for groups and events.
Participating in the daily cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, common areas and bathrooms of the Highland Center and other buildings.
Participating in deep cleaning of the lodge and other areas on a weekly/monthly basis or as instructed.
Helping with snow shoveling and sanding during the winter months and grounds upkeep in warmer months.
What AMC is Looking For
Past experience in camp operations, hospitality and/or work in the outdoors is preferred.
Kitchen experience preferred; willingness and interest to learn required.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively and kindly.
Flexibility regarding schedule is required.
Knowledge of the White Mountain National Forest area is desirable.
Must be a team player, detail oriented, well organized, highly flexible, adaptable, and resourceful.
Physical abilities needed: Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, bend and kneel, and ability to be on your feet for 8 hours a day.

Salary range: $13/hr
We are committed to fair compensation practices, and we encourage qualified candidates to apply. The initial salary represents our starting point, and our compensation philosophy is designed to reward and recognize the contributions of our employees as they grow within the organization. External candidates typically begin their journey with us at the starting point of the salary range. The final compensation offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, skills and geographic differential relevant to the position, and will be discussed during the interview process.

Room & Board: Dorm-style room for $45/week – meals included, too!
Insurance: Available with positions that are 6 months or longer and when working greater than 32 hours per week
