Housekeeper  -  We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team at Sheep Mountain Lodge, a small, family-owned lodge nestled in the breathtaking Alaskan wilderness. Here, you'll be instrumental in crafting a comfortable and unforgettable experience for our guests, all while surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the Last Frontier.

Summer Position (although there is always more work for the right people):

May 15 through September 15

• A meticulous cleaning pro: You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in a job well done.
• A physical whiz: You're comfortable bending, lifting, and moving around throughout the day.
• A team player: You value collaboration and enjoy working alongside others to achieve a common goal.
• An Alaskan adventurer (at heart): You appreciate the beauty of nature and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Bonus points if:

• You have experience working in the hospitality industry.
• You possess basic handyman skills.
• You're a whiz with laundry and linens.
• You speak another language (we welcome international applicants!).

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the pristine charm of our Cabins and Rooms:
• Deep clean and refresh guest cabins and rooms, ensuring they sparkle from top to bottom.
• Launder linens and towels, keeping them fresh and inviting.
• Replenish essential amenities like toiletries and coffee supplies.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, like changing light bulbs and replacing batteries.
• Embodying the Alaskan Spirit of Warmth and Hospitality:
• Greet guests with a friendly smile and can-do attitude.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
• Be a proactive problem-solver, anticipating and addressing potential issues before they arise.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

For you:

• $16.00 per hour + tips
• Shared Room in a group house - shared amenities with other staff - provided as part of benefits
• Access to shared company car to use on days off 
• Two consecutive days off per week
• $500.00 bonus upon successful completion of the season
