Camp Wicosuta

Camp Wicosuta is a traditional sleepaway camp for girls in Hebron, New Hampshire. Each summer we run two distinct camp sessions, each hosting approximately 300 campers and 170 staff members. At Camp Wicosuta, our 3 Cs philosophy (confidence, competence, and community) is part of everything we do! We offer activities in the areas of athletics, aquatics (pool and waterfront), creative arts, performing arts, environment education, and more. Our staff members can be role models for children, spend the summer outdoors, enjoy fun activities and build great friendships.

Our Pool Activity Head/Director is responsible for all aspects of our Pool Program. We run swim instruction, competitive swimming, junior lifeguarding and pool sports at our pool. This person directly supervises our pool staff (typically college aged students), helps design the curriculum and is responsible for upkeep of the facilities. All our staff become lifeguard certified (or re-certified) on site and the Pool Director helps with in-service and training throughout the summer. We will pay for our Pool Director to become WSI certified if they are not already.
