- Reviews current Junior Sailing curriculum and makes enhancements as necessary.
- Works with General Manager and Program Chair to determine program schedules and curriculum.
- Determines instructor assignments daily.
- Communicates expectations to instructors and helps them develop effective instruction techniques and build enthusiasm by providing regular feedback where required.
- Communicates and interacts with both parents and sailors.
- Oversees start-up and close-down operations.
- Completes all required administration including Program Registrations.
- Provides weekly and year-end report of programs and instructors.
- Performs in-season day-to-day operations:
- Supervises instructors;
- Instructs as necessary;
- Oversees upkeep and maintenance of boats and equipment
- Plans and coordinates regatta schedule (including JSA registration).
- Participates in Club activities (social events and meetings where required).
- Attends local sailing association committee meetings as required.
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the General Manager.
