Are you enthusiastic, outgoing, and love sharing exciting experiences with others? As a Tour Sales Representative at Icy Strait Point, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, helping them discover and enjoy the incredible excursions our site has to offer. From pier-side ticket sales to providing helpful recommendations, you’ll play a key role in creating unforgettable guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide orientations to excursions.

  • Promote and sell pier-side tickets for all ISP tours and experiences.

  • Ensure guests meet excursion requirements and complete any necessary waivers.

  • Keep accurate records of tour inventory, departure times, and guest information.

  • Crosstrain for roles such as Guest Representative and Gondola Operator.

  • Promote other ISP venues, distribute literature, and sell merchandise.

  • Participate in all training sessions required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Friendly, professional, and outgoing with excellent customer service skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

  • Experience in tourism, hospitality, or sales is a plus—but your enthusiasm matters most!

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to share information accurately.

  • Creative problem-solving and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Team player who can also work independently when needed.

  • Adequate knowledge or willingness to learn about Tlingit culture.

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
