Yellowstone Bighorn Research Association

YBRA is a non-profit geoscience field camp facility that opened in 1936 and is now on the National Historic Registry. We are sited on 100 acres on the side of Mt. Maurice in the Beartooth Mountains near Red Lodge, Montana. We provide meals, classrooms, and lodging for about 500 students and professors from about 15 University field geology and ecology courses, as well as citizen-scientist groups.
