This 50-acre property just outside Yosemite National Park is forested and on a hillside, is well known internationally for its spa, cafe and private cabins, tent cabins & small hostel. Friendly, fun, and open, the Bug has guests who are about 50% European and 50% Californian.
We need a seasonal Hotel Reception agent through the end of the year or longer. Though a simpler services resort, we still have many amenities and a wide cross-section of guests who come here. This Reception position works mostly 3-11 pm evening shifts. You will also offer Bug and Park information services along with a small gift store stewardship. Being welcoming and helpful with guests and yet exacting with computer and clerical work is key. The office is still the nerve center of the Bug with accounting and management in the back office.
One or two days a week you will be covering Spa Attendant shifts. Although there is a lot of cleaning, it is a beautiful place with fun patrons. Some cashiering work and water quality management.
A Tent Cabin with a heater/cooler is $125.00 every two weeks and a deposit. We have a nice employee kitchen and bathrooms. Regional YARTS bus goes into Mariposa and Yosemite from the end of our road along with Amtrak going to SF or LA. Not really a party place. Lots to do for the outside adventurer in this area for the best enjoyment.
