    Position Summary: A Building and Maintenance Volunteer responds to issues in guest and staff lodges and cabins and completes basic plumbing, heating, electrical and carpentry repairs. He/she also performs preventative maintenance and completes and submits Work Requests. A Volunteer may also help with trash removal, recycling, litter pick-up, yard work and snow removal. Working outside is required in varied weather conditions. Work hours are scheduled between 7:30 AM and 10:00 PM.

    Position Summary:  Under guidance prepares and serves food in dining areas. May greet guests and accept payments at cash registers.  Cleans kitchens, dining areas and associated restrooms and ensures good appearance of all Food Service areas.  Promotes SMR by high quality interface with guests. Position requires ability to carry up to 40 lbs weight a distance of 20 feet and to be on one’s feet for extended periods.  In winter Volunteer may be assigned to the Skinny Ski Café, a separate location from the main dining area but in close proximity to the Nordic Ski Center.  The Buckboard Grill is a separate location within SMR’s Main Reception and Administration Building. This position carries similar responsibilities to those of the Food Service Volunteer but within a smaller facility.  In addition prepares sack lunches for staff and guests and, on occasions, sets up and assists at summer outdoor cookouts.  At peak times some evening work may be required. Position includes lodging, meals, hourly pay, and tons of employee perks!

    POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for organizing workloads and assigning personnel to maintain a continual supply of clean linens for the Housekeeping department.     POSITION SUMMARY: You will have the opportunity to serve guests in a resort setting which makes this a dynamic lifeguarding position. Enjoy the luxury of a 20:1 guests to guard ratio.
