Successful employees are willing to put 100% effort into their work, and 100% into time off. Those who easily become bored by the remote location will most likely not enjoy the unique opportunity to live and work in the relative wilderness.

We want our staff to thoroughly enjoy their time spent at the lodge. Days off are a perfect way to take advantage of the remote location. Therefore employees are encouraged to hike our trails. The most established being a one and a half mile hike up Wolverine Creek to the exquisite McDonald Lake. There you may take part in some of the world’s most superb Trout fishing. Some other activities include saltwater fishing for King Salmon and Halibut, wildlife viewing, and swimming in the pristine Alaskan waters. Having a hobby will also provide employees with a more enjoyable stay.
