*THE FOLLOWING JOBS ALL HAVE NEGOTIABLE START AND END DATES FOR EMPLOYMENT:
Raft Guide - Mid-May-September - Must have or complete certification for Swiftwater Rescue and First Aid/CPR. Must be physically fit, must posses strong water confidence, have a Driver's License (for driving raft vans), easily adapt to the changing boat roster and be drug free!
CDL/Bus Driver - Mid-May-September - Must be able to drive 40 passenger bus pulling a trailer stacked with rafts. clean driving record, no drugs!
Photographer - Mid-May-September - Must have a good eye for action photography, quick at editing and be able to adapt to the daily trip schedule and be drug free.
We run 8 and 18 mile whitewater trips and Scenic Floats 7 days a week. Starting wage for Guides is $40 per trip plus tips, if you do the 18 mile it is $80 + lunch. If you have guiding experience or a CDL please be sure to elaborate on that in your resume. You can expect to take 1-3 trips daily. Staff is paid bi-weekly and there a Pro Deals available through NRS and Chaco.
All Guides must have Swiftwater Rescue and First Aid/CPR Certification. If you do not have this or need to renew, you can do so here. We use oars on Scenic Floats, The 18 Mile and for high water, otherwise we do use Guide Sticks. At the least, Guides should have their own river shoes, helmet, knife and PFD. You can borrow neoprene for training when the water is cold.
We typically work 7 days a week because our season is so short and most staff want to make as much money as possible. Days off are of course allowed but unless they are already scheduled you must request them. No multi day vacations are allowed.

Our Bus Drivers drop off and pick up for multiple locations daily. We have 4 busses and 5 vans. All vehicles are kept on our private property where the staff housing is located.
Drivers will keep bus clean and gassed up, fluids full, windows clean and do safety checks. All busses have a yearly DOT Maintenance check in May.
