We operate 47 dining venues, including dining rooms, fast-casual, cafeterias, bars, employee facilities, delis and snack shops. It's high volume, fast-paced and fun! Almost half of the Yellowstone summer staff work for the Food and Beverage Operation! We’re hiring Kitchen Crew to Live. Work. Explore. this summer! 

Job Summary:
As a Kitchen Crew member, you would be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in and around the kitchen such as light food prep, serving food in a quick service outlet, running pre-ordered food to tables, performing dishwasher duties, and running a cash register. No prior experience is needed.

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: April- Late October 2024
Pay: $15.00/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for prep, set-up, service, clean-up, and restocking of food service areas.
  • Adhere to all sanitation requirements including product rotation, temperature maintenance, storage procedures, cooking requirements, and handling techniques.
  • Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen, dining, and service areas. Ensure work area is orderly and properly stocked.
  • Complete assigned duties within each shift, focusing efforts on cleanliness and appearance of dining areas.
  • Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
  • Conducts themselves in a pleasant and professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest view. Ensure a congenial atmosphere for all.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to provide excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to follow all policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions.
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and safely with all kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a pleasant demeanor. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours. 
  • Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
