Yellowstone Club’s Slope Maintenance department is currently seeking candidates for a Snowmaker for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment dates are November 15th- April 23rd. 

The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.

The purpose of the Snowmaker, Level I is to maintain snow guns, hoses, hydrant, and pump when snowmaking is operational.

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Operate snowmaking equipment for creating manufactured snow from water resources.
  • Produce quality snow through the use of both air/water and fan equipment.
  • Constant relocation of guns and hoses to various areas around the mountain.
  • Adjusting, turning, or moving of snow guns, sometimes by hand, to maintain snowmaking efficiency.
  • Adjusting the water and or air flow to snow guns.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work required; Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and systems. 
  • Previous work experience as a Snowmaker; Experience working at a resort or club setting. 
  • Valid State Driver’s License
