We are a small, family run fish processing plant in rural Alaska. Join our family and team for a summer adventure! Work will be anything from labeling bags, making boxes, putting fish into bags, vacuum sealing fish, rinsing fish, scrubbing, cleaning, etc. You are going to be getting very friendly with fish! It is long days on your feet (12 hour days are common, 14-16 hour days also happen often). You will get a lot of overtime hours. Season is May-Sept but we are usually looking for new crew mid-season as well.

Qualifications and duties: The ideal candidate will have the ability to work hard and a demonstrated ability to be an effective team member. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an understanding of the processing system and must be able to implement day-to-day operational tasks. Good physical health and the ability to thrive in a remote wilderness location are essential. Applicants must be able to physically lift 50-80 lbs and be on their feet for 12 hours a day plus.

Job Type: Full-time- Seasonal (May through September - a 3-month minimum chunk of that time).
Salary: we offer a starting base rate with ample overtime and bonuses. Starting rate DOE. If employee makes it to the end of the season in good standing they will get a bonus of $2/hr for all of their hours. Interested? Contact Anna Stewart for more information.
