Rethinking your summer plans? Interested in giving World Fellowship a try?

We still have a few general staff openings for the summer season. Bring your skills or come to develop them! We’re seeking people who like to work hard, contribute to a positive community life, and who can commit to two weeks or more of work or volunteer time.

"General Staff" includes all the jobs that keep our peace and justice-oriented camp and retreat center operating from early June to mid-September. We rotate tasks, so you'll have the opportunity to work in the dining hall, on the dish/pot crew, do housekeeping, and occasionally lend a hand in our organic vegetable gardens or on the maintenance crew.

General staff work 36 to 40 hours a week over six days and receive modest compensation. Staff may stay in a bunkhouse or bring a tent to camp, World Fellowship will withhold a weekly amount for room and board. In your off-time, you have access to all excellent educational, recreational, body movement and arts programming. There's a vibrant, supportive community atmosphere between guests and staff, and World Fellowship is a great location from which to explore the White Mountains.

Founded in 1941, World Fellowship is a multigenerational educational camp and retreat center devoted to peace and social justice. The centerpiece of our programming is a series of lecture/discussions from the end of June until early September about a wide variety of political issues, but we offer varied arts programming as well, and programs for children and youth.

We are in the southeastern corner of the White Mountains, in the "backyard" of Mount Chocorua, set on 455 mostly wooded acres which border an Audubon sanctuary and the White Mountain National Forest. We have frontage on Whitton Pond, a pristine mile-long "great pond" that's beautiful for swimming and boating.
