Start your new year with an Alaska adventure!
Winterlake Lodge sits along the famed Iditarod Trail, a one-hour flight northwest of Anchorage at the base of the Alaska Range. The award-winning lodge offers mountain hiking, glacier trekking, dog mushing, fly-fishing and river rafting as adventure activities for our guests. The lodge is small and intimate with only six guest cabins on the property. We are known for our remarkable cuisine, exceptional customer service, and our professionalism. We are committed to sustainability. Winterlake Lodge is a member of the National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World.
We are seeking a backcountry/wilderness trained guide to join our summer 2020 team from May 15 until September 30.
We are looking for someone with good interpretive skills, good hiking ability, and a strong ability to learn our fly-fishing, river rafting, and dog mushing experiences. We are looking for a mature and responsible professional that can enhance our guest experience and contribute to our (outrageously positive and fun) lodge employee community. Please, no smokers, heavy drinkers or drugs. WFR is required.
