Summer Perks and Benefits 2024

All active employees are entitled to the following benefits at Winter Park Resort with the presentation of their valid summer employee pass. Unless noted, discounts are for the employee only, not dependents.

Activities and Lifts:

• FREE access to the following for employees (and eligible dependents with dependent pass):
• Alpine Slide
• Gondola (Mountain Bike or Foot Access), Gemini, & Explorer Chair Lift (Mountain Bike Access only)
• Outdoor Climbing Wall
• Ropes Course
• 18 Hole Putting Course
• Guided hikes and E-bike tours based on availability.

Friends and Family can use discount vouchers (limit 10 vouchers per employee loaded on to your Winter Park pass). Activity day passes and trestle tickets are $20 and scenic gondola/putting course are $5.

Season Pass Benefits:

• FREE direct to lift and activity access to Winter Park Resort
  • Dependent Passes: $0 fee for Full Time status employees
  • Dependent Passes: $25 fee for Part Time status employees
  • Dependent Passes: $50 fee for Temporary or Occasional employees
• There are currently no summer programs for discounted/free tickets to any Alterra or IKON Resorts for seasonal employees.

Food & Beverage Discounts:

• 50% discount at the Bradley’s, and Sunspot. 25% discount at Doc’s Roadhouse and Starbucks.
• Does not include alcoholic beverages.

Lodging:

• Discounts available at Zephyr Mountain Lodge, The Vintage Hotel, Fraser Crossing and Founder’s Pointe. Contact Winter Park Lodging Reservations at (866) 260-6303 for current rates and availability.  Some restrictions apply.

Rental and Retail Discounts:

• 30% discount on regularly priced retail items, 20% off full priced hard goods (helmets, gear, etc.) and 10% discount on sale items.  10% on all used demo bikes. Discounts are not valid with other discounts/promotions; purchases must be for personal use or gifts. 
• Employee Bike program will be available Mon-Thurs at Trestle Bike Shop. Come to HR for a rental voucher. Bikes are limited and may not be available at certain times.

Trestle Bike Park School:

• 50% off one-day skills clinics, and 50% off afternoon private lessons. 
• Free “Learn to Downhill” lessons. This is for beginners only and at no cost to employees if there is at least one paying guest.

Bike Park Resort Private Exchange:

Employees are eligible to access Bike Park Terrain for FREE, and dependents for ½ off at the following resorts through our Private Exchange Program. Must call or email HR prior to visiting.

1.ANGEL FIRE: (48-hour advance notice required)

DAILY: May 27 - September 5 | WEEKENDS: Friday – Sunday, September 9 – October 30

2. ASPEN SNOWMASS:

Bonus Bike Nights (Tuesdays, July 11 - August 8) - On Tuesday nights, lift-served biking continues into the evening until dusk. Use your daily bike park ticket or purchase a Late Arrival ticket for just $44 and ride from 2 pm until dusk.

3. GRANBY RANCH

Chairlift and Bike Trails  9:30am-6pm | Thursday – Sunday | June 1 – Oct 1

4. STEAMBOAT 48-hour advance notice or Summer AMC Pass required (email HR to get AMC promo code)

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

• Winter Park Resort has contracted with local Mental Health Professionals to provide up to 6 annual confidential counseling sessions to active employees and their immediate family members.

Employee Child Care Services

• Child Care is available on a space available basis for infants, toddlers, and pre-school ages 2 months to 5 years through the Early Education Center (EEC).
• Open Monday – Friday.
