What are you doing next summer? How would you like to get paid to spend your summer outside in the mountain air and help people while you’re doing it? Well here is your opportunity!

Trestle Bike Park/Winter Park Resort is currently accepting applications for full-time, summer Bike Patrollers. Spend your summer on Winter Park’s 40 miles of mountain bike trails and take advantage of all of the perks that come as an employee of the resort. Trestle Bike Patrol is looking for a couple dedicated, driven individuals. If you are a downhill mountain biker with career goals of providing excellent guest service and industry-leading emergency services than we are looking for you!

The primary responsibilities include: responding to all first aid emergencies on the mountain, assessing hazards on bike trails and on the mountain; and providing excellent guest service to all bikers and resort guests. Secondary goals include: training and becoming proficient in all aspects of the position, such as: accident investigation, lift evacuation, dispatching, mountain bike maintenance, and special events coordination.

- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Have a valid driver’s license

- High school diploma or the equivalent

- Current CPR/First Aid/Outdoor Emergency Care preferred but not required

- Previous downhill mountain biking experience required

-It is not required that you can presently ride every trail at Trestle Bike Park. Bike Patrol is looking for confident mountain bike riders who are willing to improve their mountain bike skills to the point of safely riding every trail, with the exception of Banana Peel, at Trestle Bike Park.

- Must already own or be willing to purchase a Freeride/Downhill Mountain Bike

Try-outs will be held at the Sunspot Bike Patrol Hut located adjacent to the top of the Eskimo Lift at the top of the Trestle Bike Park, and on the mountain bike trails at Trestle Bike Park. A preliminary interview will follow the skills assessment, and upon passing the skills assessment, personal interviews will be scheduled.

***Helmet required for tryouts. Bikes will NOT be provided.***
