The Base Services Department is currently accepting applications for part time seasonal parking attendants (weekends – minimum 2 days a week up to 5 hour shifts) to begin mid December. Ability to work additional hours during holiday periods preferred. Parking Attendants perform all tasks necessary to provide parking, traffic, and shuttle services at Winter Park Resort - Directing vehicles into parking lot spaces; maintaining traffic flow at intersections, roads, and transportation circle; monitor and assist vehicles and pedestrians, assisting guests and employees in a friendly and helpful manner.
Familiarity with Winter Park Resort, town and valley is desirable. Experience working with the public in high volume situations desirable. Must be in good physical condition able to withstand sub zero temperatures for extended periods. The applicant must demonstrate an ability to work independently.
The Base Services Department is currently accepting applications for a part time or full time seasonal Grounds Laborer Wagon Master to begin in November. The responsibilities of this position include snow removal in wagons, general fleet maintenance of the wagons, hauling wagons, assisting guests in a friendly, helpful manner and perform other duties as assigned. Must be willing to work a flexible part time or full time schedule and work extra hours during busy periods, dependent on demand. Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age, posses a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. No more than 2 moving violations in the past three years, no more than one moving violation in the past 18 months and no alcohol or drug related violations in the past 5 years. Must be in excellent physical condition able to with stand sub-zero temperatures and lift heavy weights. Applicant should be outgoing, a team player, hard- working and demonstrate the ability to work independently. Experience working with the public in high volume situations. .
The Wagon Master/ Grounds Skilled Laborer will follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.
The Grounds Services Laborer performs all general maintenance and snow removal duties necessary to prepare and maintain the Winter Park Resort grounds, parking lots, and roadways in a clean, attractive, functional, and reasonable safe condition. Performs tasks to provide parking, traffic, and shuttle services in a friendly, professional, efficient manner with an emphasis on safety. Establishes first contact with guests and provides assistance as needed. Follow consistently all policies set forth in the Employee Handbook. Complies with all regulations set forth by the Colorado Department of Transportation and Motor Vehicle Bureau.
