The Westmark is a full-service hotel with 106 rooms located in the heart of downtown Sitka. We host a variety of guests throughout the year.
The Westmark restaurant is a casual and fine dining restaurant. We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Our beautiful wrap around deck seats 85 guests as well. We are expected to have a record number of cruise ships this summer of 2023 and are expecting one of the best seasons of fishing for our travel fisher families.
The Westmark has 2 banquet rooms and we provide both on and off-premise catering.
We have a core group of local employees and look forward to welcoming our summer hires.
We can provide housing if necessary.

Ideal Candidate
At the Westmark Sitka, we are searching for the employee who provides seamless service, outstanding customer relations and pride in all of your work. Strong Wine and Cocktail knowledge is a plus for restaurant positions.
We are recruiting people that have a minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining, and 4 star hotels with an emphasis on outstanding customer service. Both front and back of the house. Must be able to stand on your feet for an 8 hour shift and perform required job duties.
Our employees love the service industry and enjoy having a great time, while working in a fast paced, high volume atmosphere.
Room and Board
Housing is provided for $85 per week double occupancy. We provide a shuttle to and from employee housing that runs every 2 hours on the hour from 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM.
We provide a discounted employee menu.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Sitka is accessible by Airplane provided by Alaska Airlines and by Ferry via The Alaska Marine Highway. The Westmark Shuttle and one of our representatives will pick you up when you arrive and deliver you to the hotel. If you choose to stay in the housing provided, we will get you there.
Once in Sitka, the town is very bike and pedestrian friendly. City busses are also available.

Enjoy biking, hiking, fishing, history, local art and much more. Rent a boat and explore the islands. Enjoy the Fortress of the Bears and the Raptor Center. Check Sitka out at www.sitka.org
