Reid Creek Lodge is a luxury buyout style experience serving one guest group at a time, up to 22 individuals. Our ideal candidate has the following skills:
- Guiding experience, horseback and/or outdoor activities
- Experienced at providing a high level of personalized service commensurate with a luxury property
- Fishing knowledge
- Some mechanical ability (to do minor repairs on equipment in the field as needed)
- Gun and gun safety knowledge
- Wilderness navigation and map reading experience
- Water safety knowledge
- First Aid/ CPR certification
We can and will train on many of these skills if the candidate is a good fit for our program!
Room and Board
We provide clean, quiet, private rooms for our staff in the same secluded valley as Reid Creek Lodge. During guest stays, all meals are provided! Accommodation includes a beautifully appointed shared kitchen and living space. We are surrounded by nature at all times, and wildlife is part of our daily views. At the end of the day, we get to go back to our team accommodations and watch a game or a movie on the tv or sit on the back porch and listen to the sounds of the night as we look at the Milky Way sweeping over the valley. There are shared sinks in the bathrooms, but private showers and toilets.

Getting Here and Getting Around
If you like to explore, we recommend bringing your personal vehicle to the ranch. Accommodations can be made for the right candidate, however given our rural location many find the the freedom of their own vehicle preferable during personal time.
For Fun
Our team enjoys spending time outdoors on the ranch fishing, hiking, paddle boarding, biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, stargazing, and wildlife viewing. Surrounding towns provide interesting recreation, education and nightlife opportunities.
The ranch is a 1.5 hour drive from Casper and a 2.5 hour drive from Cheyenne, the State Capitol, providing any amenity one would require from a city, such as museums, restaurants, concerts, rodeos and fairs. Reid Creek Lodge is an easy drive from additional points of interest including Thermopolis hot springs, Devil's tower, the Black Hills of South Dakota, Mount Rushmore, as well as Cheyenne Frontier Days to name a few.
