Getting Here and Getting Around
The ranch is located 65 miles SW of Denver. Denver International is a very easy airport to fly into and offers flights from everywhere. Past employees have emphasized that it is advantageous to have your own transportation. If you do not have a vehicle, we will make arrangements to pick you up in Denver when you arrive at the beginning of the summer and to drop you off in Denver when you leave at the end of the season. During the summer you must find your own transportation, if you are interested in going to town or visiting the surrounding area.
On your time off you can enjoy many of the activities our guests enjoy. All facilities are available to staff (pool and hot tub), horseback riding, trap shooting, hiking (we have 3 fourteeners in our backyard), fly-fishing with our Orvis guides, white-water rafting, vehicle trips and enjoying being completely surrounded by Pike National Forest.
For those employees who need a little “city life,” we are at the perfect location. Only an hour from Breckenridge, an hour & ½ to Buena Vista, 2 hours (via Independence Pass) to Aspen, 40 minutes to the amazing Red Rocks amphitheater and just an hour & ½ to downtown Denver. Have the best of both worlds-mountains and the city!
