We are looking for enthusiastic and attentive bartenders to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will always make the Guest feel seen and appreciated while being able to create classic and specialty drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders, serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Learn the Guests names and drinks, making the experience memorable
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent Guest experience

• Work with FOH Manager on inventory and ordering

Requirements

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy

• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Valid Alaska CHARR Card - If you do not have the card, Tsaina Lodge will work with you to get you set up to take the course

We are looking for a professional lead line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Duties will consist of assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with their daily tasks. Job duties include, but not limited to, actual production of each meal, help with cleaning the kitchen after and between meals, help with the cutting, precooking and marinating, working with other kitchen staff, helping prepare ingredients and dishes. The successful candidates will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness around our restaurant. Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately. Note that this role requires working in shifts and evenings or weekends. Ultimately, you’ll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our customers.

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas

• Load and unload dishwashing machines

• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)

• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately

• Set up workstations before meal prep begins

• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours

• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary

• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues

• Remove garbage regularly

• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

• Stock yurt with food and drinks

• Help kitchen prep as needed

We are a SEASONAL Heli-ski facility and summer lodge located in the Chugach Mountains 35 miles outside of Valdez, AK. The lodge offers upscale accommodations in a wilderness setting. There are 20 single and 4 double rooms which house up to 28 Guests per night.

We are looking for professional Housekeepers able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our Guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

• Remove snow when needed, this may require early mornings and long nights, and is an "as needed" position
• Ensure all paths are free of snow and ice and are safely passable
• Ensure all structures that need to be free of snow are kept that way
• Remove snow from roofs of yurts and cabins
• Be able to run a snowblower
• Other duties as needed
• Be able to take direction and instruction from the Head Maintenance Person
• Make sure all snow removal equipment is in good working order
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
