The Town of Snowmass Village is hiring!  Full Time Year Round and Full Time Seasonal positions will receive a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus.  End of Season Bonus potential for all Full Time Seasonal positions.  

  • Snowplow Operator (Full Time Seasonal)

    Public Works
    Snowmass Village
    $24.86 - $32.31 / hour

    We are seeking a qualified and motivated snowplow operator to join the road division of our Public Works Department. Reporting directly to the Road Superintendent, this position performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance, construction, and operation of roadways, drainage facilities, fences, and other public facilities. This position also operates a variety of light, medium, and heavy equipment.

    Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of one year of experience in operating light and medium equipment. Possession of or the ability to obtain (within 30 days) a valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License is critical to the success of this position. The Town of Snowmass will train qualified applicants to meet CDL requirements.

    A desire to live in, serve and be an active member of a mountain community is strongly preferred.

    The full-time, seasonal position is available from approximately November 1 - April 30.  Outstanding benefits include health insurance, a recreation benefit, and more!  A $1,000 Sign on Bonus, plus seasonal employees may be eligible for an End of Season bonus.

  • Bus Driver (Full Time Seasonal and Part Time)

    We are seeking a qualified driver with (or with the ability to secure) a Class B P2 CDL with Air Brake certification to safely operate a transit vehicle over designated routes within Snowmass Village.

    The full-time, seasonal position is available from approximately November 1 - April 30.  Outstanding benefits include health insurance, a recreation benefit or ski pass, and more! A $1,000 sign on bonus, plus seasonal employees may be eligible for an End of Season bonus.

    The part-time opportunity is available year-round and also offers great benefits.  

    Ideal candidates possess previous driving experience in a service truck or bus and excellent customer service skills. A desire to live in, serve and be an active member of a mountain community is strongly preferred.

  • Building Maintenance Mechanic I (Full Time Year Round)

    Under the general supervision of the Housing Director, Lead Building Maintenance Mechanic & Building Maintenance Mechanic II, this position performs manual skilled and semi skilled work and limited lead work involving employee housing building operations and property maintenance.  This position is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the apartment buildings in all complexes, leads part-time assistants and participates in keeping the adjacent grounds, parking lots and equipment in an orderly condition.

  • Lifeguard I (Part Time)

    Under the supervision of the Aquatics Manager, this position will perform a variety of pool-side and water safety duties as needed to assure safe use of pool facilities. Monitors water activities to assure safety and prevent accident or injury to patrons. Enforces pool and recreation center rules and regulations.

  • Recreation Center Coordinator (Full Time Year Round)

    Under the general supervision of the Recreation Center Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the Recreation Center's day-to-day operations and decision-making for and supervision of the Recreation Center site and exterior grounds, including safety and security in the absence of a manager or Director. This position is expected to work independently within the recreation team by organizing, promoting, and coordinating the recreation center, recreational activities, events, classes, and programs. This position also assists in budget preparation, hiring, and supervising assigned staff.

  • Facility Maintenance Worker I (Full Time Year Round)

    Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Specialist in our Transportation department, this position is responsible for cleaning facilities and buses, transport of vehicles, minor mechanical and plumbing repair and various other duties.
     
    Qualified candidates must possess previous experience operating and maintaining motorized equipment and appliances related to building maintenance.
     
    Candidates must either possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL), class B rating, P2 and Air Brake certification.
     
    Compliance with drug and alcohol testing guidelines per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Department of Transportation, at 49 C.F.R., Party 382 and the Town's Drug and Alcohol Policy is also required.
