    Position Reports to: F&B Management Team

    Works in conjunction with: Bartenders, Server Assistants, Bussers, Housemen

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Take food & drink orders from tables in your assigned section
    • Assist housemen in setting up buffets & food stations for dinners & events
    • Conduct wine & coffee service in proper fashion
    • Direct server assistants to aid in proper service

    Position Reports to:

    Head Steward/Assistant Clubhouse Manager

    Works in conjunction with: Locker Room, Housemen and Housekeeping

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Daily duties to perform include but are not limited to: shoe shining; washing and folding of towels; emptying trash, dusting, and vacuuming the locker room and main areas of Clubhouse; clean and deodorize bathrooms; replenish locker room supplies; polish/clean furniture, fixtures, windows, window ledges; mop floors
    • De-lime and de-calcify shower dividers as well as sink faucets and shower heads
    • Assist with the general cleaning of the public and back of house areas of Golf Clubhouse; which includes but not limited to: cleaning member and employee bathrooms; emptying trash in employee areas including offices; dusting and vacuuming the main areas; cleaning windows both inside and outside; polish/clean furniture, fixtures, and window ledges; mop floors; sweeping outdoor patios; de-cobwebbing terraces
    • Maintain and assign locker space and issue locker keys
    • Assist management with the inventories of all cleaning and locker room supplies
    • Clean, organize and maintain locker room supply storerooms
    • Set-up of coffee and continental breakfast for the members in the mornings on Weekends
    • Clean and stock with supplies the bathrooms on the golf course
    • Launders and folds all towels, linens, and on-course slip covers as presented by team members
    • Report all safety and security issues to a manager immediately


    • Basic knowledge of cleaning
    • Knowledge of a second language is a plus
    • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

    Job Details

    The Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality of beverage production and service to our Members and guests. In addition to supporting all Club venues, events and fellow Employee Partners in delivering quality beverages and service, the Bartender maintains the bar, bar service areas and related storerooms in a neat, organized and secure manner. This Employee Partner follows the proper procedures for ordering, stocking, inventories, cleaning and ensuring opening/closing duties are performed to ensure bar readiness at all times.

    Reports to: F&B Management Team

    Works in conjunction with: Servers, Server Assistants, Runners, Housemen

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a positive environment for all patrons to enjoy.
    • Prepare beverages for all patrons
    • Specialize is foodservice efficiency
    • Ensure bar area remains clean & well-maintained
    • Assess customers’ needs & preferences & make recommendations on how to improve service
    • Plan and present specialty cocktail menus upon request of the management team and Club standards
    • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
    • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies accordingly to Club standards
    • Comply with all NYS Health and Safety codes with regards to Food & Beverage
    • Perform daily inventories upon request
    • Assist management team with monthly beverage inventory
    • Perform any and all other related duties assigned by the General Manager

    Candidate Qualifications

    • Must be able to develop inventory lists, opening and closing.
    • Ability to develop stocking and set up lists specific to the type of function, amount, and area of its deployment and service
    • Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
    • Advanced knowledge of the most common cocktails, garnishes, mixed drinks and specialty drinks
    • Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
    • Computer literacy
    • Knowledge of a second language is a plus
    • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
    • Must be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays
    • Must be able to work within an empowered and fast-paced environment that services the bar, satellite bars and servers of the Club
    • County Specific Food Handlers Certification, State-specific alcohol certification and/or TIPPs certification preferred

    Head Lifeguard

    Job Details

    The Head Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the entire aquatics operation including safety procedures, assisting with hiring of pool staff, managing, scheduling and directing pool staff, member/guest relations and any other required tasks to ensure a safe, efficient, and healthy working environment for all.

    Reports to: Clubhouse Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure staff has appropriate daily knowledge to maintain the safety of members, guests and staff
    • Ensure all New York State health and safety standards are met and maintained
    • Develop and execute drills for emergency situations with pool staff
    • Develop weekly lifeguard schedules to ensure all hours of operation at the pool are sufficiently covered
    • Develop, implement and execute seasonal swim club training activities, coordinating with the management team attendance and overall activity reports
      • Assist management with design and development of Swim Club Merchandise
    • Implement and oversee a daily rotation schedule for lifeguards
    • Maintain all necessary records required by the state of New York.
    • Maintain all necessary records/forms/sign in sheets required by the Club
    • Check, maintain proper balances and record all pool chemicals to meet Health Department requirements
    • Develop and implement a procedural “Daily Duties” list of responsibilities for lifeguards to follow ensuring that cleanliness of pool, pool area, office and cabana are kept up to excellent standards
      • Submit daily End of Shift reports to the Clubhouse Manager summarizing events, activities, member/employee comments or issues, and number of guests
    • Create an engaging lifeguard culture with an emphasis on children interaction
      • Institute proper Deepwater swimming tests for eligible children
    • Exceed expectations set forth by the Club’s pool and youth sub-committees

    Candidate Qualifications

    • Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
    • Current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED.
    • Current WSI Certification, recommended
    • Excellent management, communication, & leadership skills
    • Must be energetic, engaging, and hands-on with member and guest relations
    • Must be able to enforce rules and regulations in a professional manner.

    Schedule Expectations

    • Lifeguard recruitment begins immediately, while pool preparation begins May 1st, 2021.
    • 2021 Pool Season: Saturday, May 28th through Sunday, September 12th. As Head Lifeguard, you are expected to maintain correct levels of staff throughout the season, with an emphasis on Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July Week, Labor Day Weekend and the weekend after.

    Other Benefits

    • Swimming Lesson Rate, with WSI certification: $30 per half hour, billing submitted to the Business Office on Mondays. Lessons should not be performed while on the clock, however exceptions can be made.
