The Oasis at Death Valley operates two hotels, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest-elevation golf course. Our historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch offer guests a variety of accommodations. Both hotels have swimming pools that are open annually and are fed from naturally warm local springs.
JOB SUMMARY
Advanced Cooks will work across all stations and use all kitchen equipment. Depending on the specific venue, you can anticipate working multiple stations that include batch production, high volume a la carte, prep, pantry, and banquets.

Wage: $20.30 - $20.90 per hour, depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of meals prepared.
- Ensure consistency in techniques to be used for proper food preparation, portioning, and plating as outlined in recipes, product rotation, and mise en place.
- Prepares a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, ovens, fryers, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of one and a half years of experience as a Line Cook, not including fast food. Fine dining experience is preferred.
