  • Server

    Breckenridge

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Server is responsible for taking food and drink orders from and serving all guests in assigned section of the dining room in a fast, courteous and efficient manner.  The server must ensure correct billing procedures and provide excellent service to guests, ensuring level of service meets the Company’s standards.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Greet guests in a polite, positive manner; takes beverage orders. Check patrons’ identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
    • Answer questions about the menu and takes food orders. Explains how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients, and cooking methods. Suggests any menu item.
    • Submit food order into kitchen.
    • Serve guests their desired entrees in a friendly, efficient manner.
    • Maintain a pleasant dining experience.  Check on guests periodically throughout their meals and attends to their needs. Deliver check and completes transaction making accurate change when necessary.
    • Perform clean-up duties after each meal service; and, prepares and sets up for next meal.
    • Keep assigned tables clean and properly set up, including vacuuming and arranging tables and chairs. 
    • Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
    • Report gratuities at the end of each shift as required by Company policy and law.

  • Facilities Maintenance Technician

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Maintenance Specialist assists by performing all aspects of maintenance and repair work on all mechanical, structural, and electrical equipment and systems on assigned locations. 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Receive direction from the Maintenance Manager and assist in the overall maintenance and repair of the assigned unit’s operations. 
    • Conduct scheduled inspections of designated buildings and equipment; check and repair equipment malfunctions.
    • Make major repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment as needed.
    • Respond immediately and resolve emergency facility needs/issues regarding safety/security/business requirements, including fire alarm systems; disengage electrical, water, or gas systems as necessary.
    • Lock and secure all buildings and facilities; monitor, activate and reset automatic security systems as appropriate.
    • Assist Manager with inventory/security of supplies is adequate for the maintenance of units.
    • Maintain and ensure safe facility environment including standards for maintenance and upkeep of facility’s equipment.  Notify Manager of all unusual events, circumstances, or other safety or quality control issues.    
    • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times. Maintain and enhance the company’s image when interacting with clients, guests, associates, and vendors.

  • Housekeeping Inspector

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Housekeeping Inspector assists the Housekeeping Manager in daily housekeeping operations and floor management, including staff, equipment, and property to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and company initiatives. The Housekeeping Inspector must be comfortable cleaning room and doing final room inspections.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Assist Housekeeping Manager in the daily operations and floor management in the designated area. 
    • Maintain GSI Hospitality Standards and adhere to GSI Sparkling Clean Program.
    • Supervise the staff in absence of the Housekeeping Manager. 
    • Ensure complete guest satisfaction at all times.  Handle guests’ complaints and solve them according to customer service standards. 
    • Monitor and supervise set up and maintenance of assigned area of facility to ensure quality standards.  Monitor and assist in requisitioning linen use and housekeeping supplies; care of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.  
    • Assist in recruiting, supervising, training, scheduling, disciplining, reviewing, and directing the room attendants at the direction of the Housekeeping Manager.  Assist in payroll procedures in submitting time and controlling labor costs.
    • Assist room attendants as needed.   
    • Maintain and ensure safe facility environment including standards for maintenance and upkeep of unit’s equipment, food production and handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation, dress, cash control, and employee hygiene.  Notify Unit Manager of all unusual events, circumstances, or other safety or quality control issues.

  • Houseperson

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Houseperson maintains clean, orderly, and attractive public areas within the unit and responds to guests’ requests in an efficient and pleasant manner.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Ensure assigned areas are clean and neat as directed by management. 
    • Clean ash urns constantly.
    • Clean and dust lamps, mirrors, pictures, etc. 
    • Deliver requested items, such as refrigerators, pillows, rollaways, cribs, etc., to guest rooms as directed.
    • Deliver supplies to assigned areas of facility. 
    • Follow bio-hazard, safety, general clean room, and quarterly mattress-flipping procedures.
    • Clean restrooms in assigned areas.
    • Vacuums all halls, lobbies, and edges.  Mop and clean all floors in assigned areas. 
    • Clean all hall railings, marks on wallpaper, stairwells, and lockers.
    • Pull trash from trash receptacles.  Replace trash bags as needed.  Clear trash from tables and floors/grounds.

  • Laundry Attendant

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the facility’s linens and guests’ laundry as directed.    

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Operate laundry machinery to clean and sanitize clothes and linens used by the facility and the facility’s guests.  Load and unload machinery.  Work safely using detergents, bleach, and other cleaning solutions to clean articles following company safety standards. 
    • Fold and store facility’s linens, towels, and uniforms. 
    • Iron guests’ clothing and any other items as directed using hand iron or pressing machine.
    • Maintain inventory controls. 
    • Clean laundry machinery, filters, and vents.  Maintain clean and clear laundry work space.  Report any unsafe issues to management. 
    • Sew and mend facility’s linens as necessary.
    • Maintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager.

  • Housekeeper

    The Housekeeper performs skilled and routine maintenance and tasks necessary to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the unit. 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Clean assigned areas as directed by management and in compliance with the Company’s “green” initiatives.
    • Change linens and make beds. 
    • Dust and clean all furniture, picture frames, mirrors, windows, baseboards, carpet edges, inside and outside door panels, door ledges, and thresholds.
    • Pull trash from trash receptacles.  Replace trash bags as needed.  Clear trash from tables and floors/grounds.
    • Clean and vacuum under beds, desk, gaming tables, and behind night stands.
    • Check and replace all missing items in rooms, including soaps, shampoos, conditioners, hangers, clocks, ice bucket liners, hair dryers, brochures, and stationery, etc.
    • Clean and ensure bathtubs, tub ledges, sinks, vanity shelves, toilets, bathroom scales, tissue box covers, and soap dishes are spot, mold, mildew, and dust free. 
    • Sweep and mop all bathroom floors.
    • Dust all lights and sconces, make-up mirrors, and lampshades.
    • Perform laundry duties as assigned. 
    • Notify Supervisor of all quality control issues or needed repairs pertaining to the housekeeping of the facility.
    • Maintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager.

  • Host/Hostess

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Host is responsible for making reservations and greeting guests when they arrive at the unit. The Host also seats the guests and makes sure that they are satisfied. The Host is responsible for giving the guests a good first impression of the unit by greeting them in a friendly manner.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Greet customers in a positive and welcoming manner.  Acknowledge customers in a friendly manner upon their exit, inviting them to return.
    • Anticipate the customers’ needs, and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
    • Answer telephone and direct calls where necessary.  Make reservations, answer questions, and give directions patiently and warmly.    
    • Escort customers to their tables and assist in seating; present menus according to unit guidelines.     
    • Resolve customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.  Alert management when needed. 
    • Clean and organize lobby area and host stand. 
    • Complete closing duties as assigned.
    • Be familiar with all unit services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to customers’ questions accurately.

  • Dining Room Supervisor

  • Dishwasher/General Utility

    The General Utility is responsible for cleaning all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans and related food preparation/serving items and equipment, as well as the service and dining areas. The General Utility performs skilled and routine maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility.  

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and cooking supplies using proper sanitation procedures.
    • Pull trash from trash receptacles.  Replace trash bags as needed.  Clear trash from tables and floors/grounds.
    • Clean floor area of any spillage of water, detergent and/or food stuffs per safety and sanitation guidelines.
    • Fill condiments, utensils, and other supplies with stock as needed.
    • Loading and unloading of inventory from trucks.  Stocking storeroom. 
    • Maintain the kitchen, serving, and dining areas in clean and orderly condition at all times by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping counters and equipment and organizing shelves in order to maintain a sanitary work station and to meet mandated health compliance requirements.

  • Shuttle Driver

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Shuttle Driver will transport guests and their luggage from the designated parking area to resort, and from resort to several resort offered amenities. Additionally, the Driver will need to assist passengers in loading, unloading and/or carrying their luggage.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Drive vehicle over specified routes or to specified destinations adhering strictly to time schedules, complying with traffic regulations and state laws to ensure that passengers have a smooth and safe ride. Ensure that passengers follow safety regulations.
    • Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles, and help them with any luggage.
    • Assume responsibility for the safety and security of passengers/goods during transport.
    • Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation.
    • Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs/maintenance to management immediately.
    • Report all delays and accidents to management immediately. Complete accident reports when necessary.
    • Communicate with resort by radio, telephone, or computer to exchange information and receive requests for passenger service (In compliance with HR Policies #417)
    • Must comply with Guest Services’ HR Policies #417 and #916
    • Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water.
    • Maintain driving logs and record information requested by management during the work hour.

  • Front Desk Agent

    The Front Desk Agent must have the ability to perform all desk attendant functions including checking guests and vendors in and out, reservations, and switchboard. Must have strong customer services skills.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Provide administrative, reception and program support to management and staff. 
    • Manage phone activity including providing general knowledge to callers.
    • Manage walk-in traffic.  Sign in customers as needed.  Smile and greet customers in a welcoming manner.
    • Register and assign rooms to guests. 
    • Provide quotes for room rates and up-sell the guest when possible. 
    • Assist in coordinating the Front Desk and the Housekeeping Department.
    • Verify that the correct charges and credits are posted to the corresponding guest folio.  Collect payment for charges on the guest folio. 
    • Ensure all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for and balanced at the beginning and end of each work shift.
    • Responds to guest inquiries. 
    • Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority, otherwise refer the matter to the management.

    The Night Auditor performs all bookkeeping functions and end of day accounting duties for the hotel, in addition to performing front desk attendant functions including checking guests in and out, reservations, and switchboard as assigned.
