The Lodge at Big Sky offers the most unique work experience in Big Sky, MT. We are Big Sky's only locally (family) owned and operated hotel. We are located right across the street from Big Sky Resort. This means you are always a 5-minute walk away from world-class hiking, biking, and skiing. Room and Board
Our housing is hotel rooms converted into dorm-style housing units. Each unit has:
- 2 twin over twin bunk beds housing up to 4 employees of the same gender per unit
- 1 bathroom per unit
- 32" flat-screen TV with HD programming
- Sofa
- Shared closet space
- Free Wifi
- Mini fridge
- Shared refrigerator per unit in Kitchen
Common facilities:
- Kitchen
- Electric stove, and one shared fridge per unit
- Pots, pans, silverware, and dining table
- Coin-operated laundry facilities
Housing Security Deposit: $250 (refundable upon move-out per Housing Policy Agreement stipulations)
Rent: $15/day
All Employee Housing Program expenses are accounted for through employee payroll deductions.
Employee Perks
Available to all team members immediately:
- Season Pass program (both summer and winter)
- Season pass value is deducted from paycheck, then given back as a bonus should team member complete season
- Comparable bonus program for those not needing a season pass
- Season pass value is given to team member upon completion of a full season of work
- Bonus program for team members that get recognized in online reviews
After 1st year of work (or 2 consecutive seasons):
- Paid time off (full-time and part-time)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (full-time only)
Getting Here and Getting Around
Once housed at The Lodge at Big Sky, employees typically do not need a personal mode of transportation. Housing is on-site so commuting back and forth from work means climbing up a flight of stairs. Big Sky has its own public transportation system (skylinebus.com) that takes you to all major parts of town as well as Bozeman. If you will not be bringing a personal mode of transport, feel free to reach out to management for assistance getting to and from the Bozeman Airport.
For those who bring their own mode of transportation, parking is available on site. Having a 4 wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended.
For Fun
Hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, camping, rock climbing, rafting, kayaking, zip-lining, hunting, golfing, fly-fishing, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, fat biking, sledding, cross-country skiing -- you name it, and chances are you can do it in Big Sky.
Besides outdoor activities, there are various cultural events that Big Sky hosts as well. Music in the Meadow, Farmer's Market, annual Artisan Fair, Peak to Sky and Moonlight Musicfest music festivals, and the PBR Rodeo.
With all the things to do in Big Sky, this wouldn't just be your home, it would be your playground as well!
