    We opened INN 2011 and hold steadfast to our trademark:  endless INNtuitive service.  Just steps from the ferry and float plane docks, the Inn is embraced by the historic Friday Harbor seaport.  Guests looking to go with the slow will find comfort INN the Inn’s fifteen elevated accommodations and its eco ethos.  Three distinct room types complement the stylish Silver LEED certified building that nods to maritime gone by:  Euros, Sweets, and Penthouses

    (solo or duo on-site position with on-site housing – no family or pet housing available)

    🗓️  Schedule


    Minimum March/April 15th – October/November 15th.  Once you’re trained-up, our Team and Guests will rely on you Sunday – Thursday for scheduled shifts.  You’ll be on-call after hours (6:00pm – 10:00am) at least three days a week.

    Schedule may vary based on Team and Guest needs and could INNclude weekends and holidays. 

    We need a capable collaborator to keep our guest and team experience top-notch.  While there’s never a normal day, we’d expect the INNkeeper Assistant to live on-site or super close by (1 – 2 miles away) and lend a hand

      • 10:00am – 6:00pm: Front Desk (Experience Ambassador)
    • Monday
      • 10:00am – 6:00pm: Front Desk (Experience Ambassador)
    • Tuesday
      • 9:00am – 3:30pm:  Housekeeping (Team Clean), Maintenance, and Landscape
      • 6:00pm – 10:00am:  On-call After Hours Ambassador
    • Wednesday
      • 9:00am – 3:30pm:  Housekeeping (Team Clean), Maintenance, and Landscape
      • 6:00pm – 10:00am:  On-call After Hours Ambassador
    • Thursday
      • 9:00am – 3:30pm:  Housekeeping (Team Clean), Maintenance, and Landscape
      • 6:00pm – 10:00am:  On-call After Hours Ambassador

    🎁  Compensation


    We’ll provide on-site housing for a way-below market rent if you fly solo or as a couple (sorry, no pets or families) and have a light footprint.  $21 - $27 hourly if you commit to a minimum of six months, are a top-performer(s), and you’re always INN on-schedule offering off-the-charts assistance.

    You’ve got to enjoy variety, guiding guests and being a BIG part of our small but mighty team.

    When it comes to cleaning, you’ll need to keep pace, fixate on the finer details, be reliable, and follow all strict health & safety protocols.  As an Experience Ambassador working INN our Welcome Room, you must absolutely love computers, online platforms, clear quick communication, and crafting off-the-charts experiences for our Team and Guests.

    You’ll also help maintain the appropriate INNventory of cleaning supplies, linens and consumables INNcluding running around town to score supplies as needed.

    Experience Ambassador

    Anticipated Start Date: Immediate

    Training Period: 15 days

    Schedule:                               

    • Your training schedule will vary so you get to experience each phase of Inn operations and the guest experience. 
    • Once you’re trained-up, our Team and Guests will rely on you Thursday – Monday 12:00pm – 8:00pm or 1:00pm - 9:00pm
    • Schedules may vary based on Team and Guest needs and almost always INNclude weekends and holidays.

    Compensation:                     

    $21 - $27/hour based on experience, qualifications, and skill set.  Benefits could INNclude Health INNsurance, Sick Leave, and perks around town.

    Overview:

    You must absolutely love computers, online platforms, clear quick communication, and crafting off-the-charts experiences for our Team and Guests.  If you’re not INNto any of that, there's no need to read further. 

    If you’re all teched-out, and into mind-blowingly professional typing, talking, texting, and teamwork, keep reading.

    Experience Ambassadors guide guests through their experience as their personal champion.  Ambassadors are also lots of roles rolled INN to one:  Concierge, Front Desk, Reservations, Porter, Maintenance, and more.  Most important?  Experience Ambassadors keep everything straight for everyone and serve as our hotel’s traffic controller.

    Team Clean

    Schedule:                              

    • Once you’re trained-up, our Team and Guests will rely on you Wednesday – Sunday 8:30am – 3:30pm. 
    • Schedules may vary based on Team and Guest needs and almost always INNclude weekends and holidays.

    Compensation:           

    $21 - $27/hour based on experience, qualifications, and skill set.  Benefits could INNclude Health INNsurance, Sick Leave, and perks around town.       

    Overview:

    You must absolutely love stairs.  Seriously.  You can’t get anywhere INN our hotel without climbing lots of stairs.  Lots – of – stairs.  If you can clear that hurdle, you’ve got to be able to also regularly carry gear up and down those stairs.  35 lbs worth of gear:  duffels, ladders, laundry bags, laundry baskets, and more.  If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, need to read further.

    We’re proud of our Team Clean and our guests are always impressed with our spotless accommodations INN the heart of Friday Harbor.  We’ve got an INNkeeper and a Team Clean Captain to decide the “what and when,” so we’re looking to add collaborative Team members to help tidy guestrooms and common spaces.
