The INNkeeper Assistant position is a Team of Two.  Each candidate of your team must individually apply for this position.

   Application Deadline: February 15, 2024

Seasonal Position Dates: April 1 – October 1, 2024

            Paid Training Period: 20 days

🗓️  Schedule

Minimum April 1, 2024 – October 1, 2024.  Once you’re trained-up, our Team and Guests will likely rely on you Friday – Tuesday for scheduled shifts.  You’ll be on-call after hours (6:00pm – 10:00am) at least three days a week.

Schedule may vary based on Team and Guest needs and could INNclude weekends and holidays. 

We need capable collaborators to keep our guest and team experience top-notch.  While there’s never a normal day, we’d expect the INNkeeper Assistant Team to live on-site or super close by (1 – 2 miles away) and lend a hand:

  • Housekeeping (Team Clean)
  • Guest Services (Experience Ambassador)
  • Maintenance
  • Landscape
  • 6:00pm – 10:00am:  On-call After Hours Ambassador

🎁  Compensation

We’ll provide on-site housing for a way-below market rent for a duo (sorry, no pets or families) with a light footprint.  $21 - $27 hourly (each employee) if you commit to a minimum of five months, are a top-performers, and you’re always INN on-schedule offering off-the-charts assistance.

You’ve got to enjoy variety, guiding guests and being a BIG part of our small but mighty team.

When it comes to cleaning, you’ll need to keep pace, fixate on the finer details, be reliable, and follow all strict health & safety protocols.  As an Experience Ambassador working INN our Welcome Room, you must absolutely love computers, online platforms, clear quick communication, and crafting off-the-charts experiences for our Team and Guests.

You’ll also help maintain the appropriate INNventory of cleaning supplies, linens and consumables INNcluding running around town to score supplies as needed.

>> A cool head and great judgment INN the heat of the season

>>  OK with going with the slow before the season starts and after it winds-down

>>  Strong familiarity and understanding of housekeeping and front desk standards and best practices

>>  Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

>>  The uncanny ability to be nice to everyone while demonstrating the right sense of urgency associated with completing projects and tasks with competing priorities

>>  Genuine care and concern for our community, colleagues, guests, and planet.  Our Team is small, mighty, and drama-free.  We have strict health & safety protocols that everyone must follow every day.   

>>  Enthusiasm for keeping us as green as it gets.

>>  Exemplary and super-savvy communication via e-mail, website chat, text-platform chat, INN-person, phone, two-way radio, carrier pigeon, echolocation, and INNternal notes.

>>  Computer confidence for managing our online INNterfaces:  property management software, INNtranet, text, webchat, extranets, Microsoft Office products, and more.

>>  Ambition to get it done yesterday and flexibility to complete operational tasks that will change by the minute, hour, day, and season.
