The Harborside Inn has exciting year-round and seasonal maintenance opportunities available!

This position is located on Martha's Vineyard.  Housing is available.

Located on the harbor in the heart of Edgartown, the Harborside Inn is Martha’s Vineyard’s premier waterfront resort. With 90 guestrooms and luxury hotel amenities, it is the perfect place to vacation in the heart of Edgartown with all the galleries, dining, shops, and nightlife the town has to offer.

The Opportunities

All of our staff members are team players and provide guests with exceptional service:  Our maintenance team does this by:

• Completing work orders in a timely manner
• Serving as champions for safety in the workplace
• Upkeeping machinery, buildings, grounds, and maintenance shop
• Providing maintenance repairs to rooms, public areas, etc.
• Performing pool and chemical testing
• Completing preventative maintenance tasks
• Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs

Qualifications

All of our staff members are passionate about guest service and helping others. They love being a team player and are detail-oriented. They are also able to work a flexible workweek including nights, weekends, and holiday. Our maintenance team can lift 50 pounds, can climb stairs, and have experience performing maintenance tasks.
