About Summit Lake Lodge
The location of the Lodge is in a mountain valley on the north shore of Summit Lake. Our 29 employees all live on site, and the nearest town is Moose Pass, which is 17 miles south. Since we are the only ones out here, you get to know everyone in a very short while. We are on the road system so one can explore almost all of the Kenai Peninsula in one summer.
The Employee Experience
Over the course of a season, we become one big family, You will meet friends from all over the world and the US. The people you live and work with is one of the best parts of working at Summit, plus the adventure of living in remote Alaska. If you enjoy people and the great outdoors this is the place for you!
We are looking for happy, professional people that enjoy their work and give excellent customer service. Team oriented people that want to work hard and to experience the Alaskan wilderness are a great fit for our team.
Everyone works for the customer and pulls their own weight. Great Lodging! Great Food! Great Hospitality! That's what we do!

Getting Here and Getting Around
We will pick staff up at the airport and bring you to the Lodge, which is 80 miles south of Anchorage. An employee who has a car is everybody's best friend. Some employees will buy used cars locally, use them all summer and then sell them at the end of the season. We go to Anchorage twice a week to get supplies and employees are welcome to travel along. I will drop off at a Mall and pick up later that day so you can always get to civilization.
Explore the Kenai Peninsula! From glaciers to ice fields, world-class fishing on both rivers and ocean. Whales! Bears! Moose! Wolves! There are also miles of great trails, and on and on.
