We are on a Private Island on Red Cedar lake with a view of the lake from everywhere in the kitchen.

This position will primarily require the ability to cook breakfast and lunch. In addition, this person must maintain a stocked line. This person should also feel comfortable following recipes and complete simple baking tasks. This could be an entry level to intermediate cook position however we would like to see at least one year of cooking experience. Stouts Island Lodge has a Chef Driven Kitchen and this position requires kitchen experience and the ability to adapt to the needs of our guests. We cook all of our food from scratch and this entails each cook to be able to prepare their station for service. This position will be responsible for executing dinner service working alongside the chef. In addition to cooking the restaurant menu this candidate should feel comfortable preparing food for buffets and plated meals for up to 200 people.
