We are now hiring outgoing, customer service-oriented bussers for our historic Main Dining Room and Back Door Lounge operations for the 2022 season. Bussers support a customer service-driven dining room and back door lounge operations by providing assistance to servers in keeping tables cleared and reset. Qualified candidates should be able to interact with guests and respond to their needs promptly.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated good organization and time management skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Demonstrated success in teamwork and customer service.
Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be willing to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Food Handler Certification or Food Sanitation License for the state of Illinois (or willing to acquire)

Trailheads is a fun & fast paced food and beverage operation with a selection of gifts, fudge, and ice cream that is located in Starved Rock's Visitor's Center. Qualified candidates should be able to assist customers in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.

- Food and beverage experience a plus, but will train the correct candidate

We are now hiring outgoing, customer service oriented food expeditors for our Main Dining Room and Back Door Lounge operations. Food Expeditors are responsible for coordinating all outgoing food orders from the kitchen ensuring accuracy and quality standards are being fulfilled. Support a customer service-driven dining room and back door lounge operations by providing assistance to servers as needed. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication skills and be able to interact appropriately with all restaurant personnel and guests. Candidates for this position must be available to work breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.
Responsibilities:

- Complete all plate presentations per the plate presentation specifications
- Coordinate food delivery with servers and run food when necessary
- Performs various tasks as directed by management

Primary duties include seating guests, processing of dining reservations, responding to inquiries regarding the Lodge's various services, and overall customer service at the Main Dining Room host stand. Qualified individuals must have excellent communication skills and the willingness to please guests.

- Highly organized individual with ability to multitask and utilize time wisely
- Basic-level computer knowledge
- Analytical, detail oriented and strong problem solver
- Restaurant experience a plus, but not necessary

Flexible schedules are available. Morning, afternoon and evening shifts available.
