Work that is real, in places that we love.

SECC operates trail crews in the spring, summer and fall for adults and young adults. Project work can include trail work, chainsaws, brush cutters, crosscuts, invasive specie removal, stone/timber/wood structures, bridges and historical preservation. SECC also offers natural resource internships.

Based out of Chattanooga, TN just miles from world renowned rock climbing, hiking in the Appalachian Mountains and Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and whitewater kayaking in the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers. Within the city limits you can paddle board, mountain bike, rock climb, hike, trail run, and fish.
