    DIY Jeep Tours | AVIS
    Skagway
    $18.00 / hour

    Job Description

    As a fleet supervisor you are responsible to oversee operational effectiveness by leading the team members towards achieving operational success, positively influencing customer satisfaction, and ensuring company policies and procedures. You work directly with your tour manager and must demonstrate a thorough understanding of AVIS/DIY Jeep Tour Operations, logistics and fleet management.

     

    Responsibilities

    • To meet the company appearance standards each shift including, but not limited to: proper personal hygiene, uniform, grooming and personal presentation
    • Establish a relationship with each guest and tour group
    • Understand who your guests are and their needs so that you can sympathize and provide the appropriate level of direction. Adapt to each group and be intentional about your delivery.
    • Coordinate with management for on-the-job training of new associates. Train all new hires
    • Demonstrate pride in your work and attention to detail.
    • Oversee and assist with all rental/fleet operations.
    • Clean Jeeps and transportation vehicles after each tour and perform basic maintenance.
    • Maintain and/or exceed minimum standards of customer service while continuing to enhance the services offered to encourage return of business.
    • Listen and prompt the customer to communicate their needs and requirements ensure that the service provided meets or exceeds customer expectations.
    • Provide a consistent focus on teamwork, productivity, and performance measurement.
    • Communicate with staff any changes to current products, services and policies.
    • Maintain high standards of vehicle presentation and safety.
    • Ensure that any vehicle not of immaculate standard is cleaned, serviced and/or repaired immediately.
    • Prepare accurate daily, operational, tour and fleet performance reports

    Physical Demands

    • Standing a minimum of 8 hours per day
    • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift 50 pounds

     

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Strong ability to multi-task
    • Works with a sense of urgency to match the business needs
    • Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not necessary
    •  Hardworking and able to work in a stressful environment
    • Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
    • Get along well with others and be a team player
    • Other duties and tasks as assigned by management

     

  • Lot Attendant/ Fleet Detailer

    $16.00 / hour

    Job Description

    Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative working environment, maximizing productivity and being highly engaged. A Fleet Detailer will clean vehicles according to company standards- Which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors, and keeping records related to gas levels and the condition of the vehicle. You should possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Be a team player, ready to assist the store operations to better serve our customers
    • Shows a positive attitude in a cooperative working climate maximizing productivity and employee morale & engagement
    • Maintains a calm presence, especially under stressful situations

    • Maintain daily and weekly cleaning checklists
    • To meet the company appearance standards each shift including, but not limited to proper personal hygiene, uniform, grooming and personal presentation
    • Checking vehicles in as they return and using IPAD to record mileage, gas, and any damages that may have occurred during rental
    • Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.
    • Operating needed equipment and cleaning tools to meet service requirements
    • Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles
    • Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
    • Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations
    • Managing inventory and notifying management when supply levels are running low
    • Print daily reports

    Physical Demands

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have valid driver’s license
    • Works with a sense of urgency to match the business needs
    • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
    • Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
    • Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.

     

  • Tour Guide/CDL Driver

    Southeast Tours is looking for adventurous & enthusiastic individuals who will provide our guests a unique and rewarding experience on their dream vacation to Alaska!  Our tours are highly rated and take our guests to spectacular wilderness areas that are full of history.  Our mission is to give our guests the best tour of their lives!  Candidates must have a fun, outgoing personality, positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and must be aware of safety issues at all times.  The Tour Guide/CDL Driver position must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) class c or greater with a passenger endorsement. Southeast Tours is willing to train the right candidates to receive their CDL.  Applicant must have a good driving record, passport, able to enter Canada, provide a five years driving record, and must be able to pass a drug test. Pay starts at a guaranteed $900 a week plus tips. We provide housing.

  • Counter Attendant

    Job Description

    As a counter attendant you’re responsible for welcoming each person that enters our establishment in a welcoming, friendly, and polite manner. The counter attendant’s responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, attending to customers’ requests, and accepting payments. To be successful as a counter attendant, you will carefully listen to customers to ensure accuracy when taking requests and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities. A top-notch counter attendant should always strive to deliver outstanding customer service

    Responsibilities

    • Greet and Check reservations in for their reservations, walk through the tour and set them on their way with the confidence and guarantee that you provided all essential instructions
    • Greet and Check reservations/vehicles in as they return from their tour.
