About Seward Military Resort
Experience Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula, a scenic must-see destination at Seward Military Resort. The resort offers lodging with hotel rooms, town homes and a log cabin, as well as RV and yurt camping. Activities include resort operated deep sea charter fishing and discount ticket and tours for local attractions. Seward Military Resort is open to all branches of Military, Active Duty or Retired, their Families, Reservists, National Guard members and DoD Civilians.
The Employee Experience
All positions are paid at an hourly rate with the average work week of up to 40 hours unless otherwise specified. Availability of hours is dependent upon need as determined by customer demand. Uniforms are required for all resort positions. Each position has different uniform requirements. Employees may be required to provide some portions of the uniform. Season runs from around May 15 to September 15.

Room and Board
Limited on-site housing is available on a first come, first serve basis, at no cost to the employee, slots are filled as we hire people. 2 persons to a room, 15 rooms in the building, all rooms share kitchen, living area and bathroom facilities. Meals are not provided, however there are cooking facilities in the employee housing unit.
Mountains, Ocean, Fishing, Hiking, and Sightseeing are all located within walking distance of the Seward Resort. Deep Sea Fishing at a greatly reduced rate, on a space available basis.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Flights come into Anchorage International Airport, then Seward Bus Line or Alaska Railroad to Seward, Alaska approximately 130 miles South of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula. Previous employees have driven from the lower 48, but most fly up. The resort is located just inside city limits, all stores, restaurants etc. are located within 2 miles.
The resort offers discounted tickets to all area attractions and throughout Alaska. Glacier & Wildlife Cruises, Alaska Railroad, Zipline Tours, Kayaking, Dog Sled Rides, Helicopter Tours, Flightseeing and much more.
There are also many opportunities for Hiking, River Fishing, Berry Picking etc in the area that are self guided, at no cost.
