Seasonal Brewpub in the Heart of Seward Alaska
We are a locally-owned, seasonal brewpub located in the heart of downtown Seward, Alaska. We serve up chef-inspired pub food and crafted beers from May through September.
We are located in downtown Seward, one block from the Alaska Sealife Center and at the finish line for the Mt. Marathon race (Seward's most popular summer event, touted as "the toughest 5K on the planet").
About Seward Brewing Company
Seward Brewing Company owners, Erik Slater and Hillary Bean, started working in the Alaskan industry more than 25 years ago (owning SBC for six of those) and fell in love with both working and playing hard in Seward.
With a focus both on guest experience AND employee experience, we offer a fun and rewarding team environment centered on our motto: "work hard; play hard."
The Employee Experience
There's no comparison to working and living seasonally in Seward. With a booming tourist industry, fueled by both outdoor adventure and indoor eats, Seward is one of the most-popular destinations in the Pacific Northwest. People have been flocking to experience seasonal life here for more than 20 years!
We strive to create a collaborative, fun and team-centered environment, which has seen many seasonal employees return year-after-year. Located in the heart of all things adventure, our employees work hard and play hard -- experiencing the beauty of Alaska, while making a buck.
We are looking for people who embody our motto! Our season is a short one, full of bustling tourists and fast-paced days, all-the-while in the center of Alaska's playground. We are searching for qualified individuals who don't shy away from hard work, enjoy being part of a team, and are on board to bring a warm and welcoming experience to our guests.

Room and Board
Limited rental housing is available for certain candidates and staff for the season. This housing is located in a shared home, with multiple rooms and roommates, close to town.
Most staff choose to find their own housing; however, this can be a challenge as seasonal options can be limited in Seward. We suggest securing housing as early as possible, although camping is an option as well.
With so many options for outdoor adventure in Seward, it's hard to experience them all in one summer! From ocean fishing to fly fishing, glacier and whale tours, dog sledding, ice climbing, kayaking, helicopter tours, camping, horseback riding, hiking, and the Alaska Sealife Center -- you won't be disappointed!
Back of house and front of house employees (dependent on the position) receive certain employee perks, such as discounts on meals or apparel, a shift beer or meal, and local discounts. All (if not most) of Seward outfitters offer local rates to our staff.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Fly into Anchorage, Alaska where you can either take the Seward Bus Line or The Parks Connection to Seward, which is located 120 miles south of Anchorage.
Once you are here, it's easy to get around town. We encourage bikes or scooters -- but a car is always helpful.
