About Sebasco Harbor Resort
Sebasco Harbor Resort is one of Maine's most charming oceanfront resorts and in 2019, will be celebrating 90 Years of Maine Hospitality. We are a very unique organization with a team of outstanding, dedicated and motivated people who take great pride in our history, our beautiful surroundings, and very special caring for our guests. We are very proud of our heritage and consider each team member's contribution significant to Sebasco's continuing growth and success.
Located on 450 acres in the beautiful coastal Town of Phippsburg, Sebasco employs a year around staff as well as over 150 seasonal hospitality professionals, with hiring priority given to seasonal staff who are available to work from late April through October. Our oceanfront resort has 110 rooms, golf course, full-service spa, incredible waterfront, two restaurants and a variety of banquet facilities. In addition, the Quarterdeck Recreation Center will bring you back to the 'Dirty Dancing' days with vintage games and four candlepin bowling lanes.
The Employee Experience
Work hard and play harder... Sebasco has a culture of family not only for the guest, but more importantly, for our employees. As a family-owned and operated resort, you won't find the corporate headquarters in a fancy building with a bunch of suits making decisions. At Sebasco, you are the decision maker as it pertains to the guests. Our ownership is on-property everyday and more than likely, you will be working right alongside of them. You will be treated like a guest while you are here and can partake in any activity, pool, restaurants, golf and more! If you haven't experienced our amenities, how can we expect you to communicate that to our guests! But, don't take our word for it...
From Jessica M. - "I’ve had two seasons now at Sebasco and I can’t wait to go back for number three! It is such a beautiful, peaceful, and friendly place that has super fun perks and is totally family friendly. The management are a pleasure to work with and so very kind. Spending time outdoors is my favorite and there are endless things to do around the resort when not working; my favorites being going out on a kayak or paddleboard, hiking one of the local awesome trails, and spending the day at the beach."
From Luie L. - "As an artist, I found the region to be incredibly inspiring for my creative side. I found that there was a lot available for me on property from access to beaches, fitness facilities, to the salt water pool, good coffee, meals, plenty of access to recreation, but also bikes, tennis, golf, bowling, kayaking and beyond. I made a circle of friends working at Sebasco who I consider family now, and I cannot wait to get back to Sebasco. It doesn't get much better than working at a place where you feel like you're on vacation. Looking forward to the 2019 season with the Dream Team."
From Margaret L. - "I love coming back here to work as a bartender during the best season in Maine. I look out at Casco Bay and the view just doesn't get any better. We have a wonderful assortment of guests who visit from around the world, and I've had many moments of meeting people and finding out we are only one degree away from being connected in some way. I love how Sebasco is a place for generations to come back and feel the same nostalgia I feel, and the updates are amazing too. I love being able to offer my own son a chance to experience Sebasco as a kid. It's quite a magical place. We have a caring leadership team, and without fail, every season I find that I am able to extend my sense of Industry family, from near and far. Can't wait for 2019!"

Getting Here and Getting Around
The closest airport to us is in Portland, ME (PWM). In addition, many prefer to fly into Boston (BOS) as the flights are much more cost effective. You will receive detailed travel instructions about one month before you are scheduled to arrive. Please contact us if you need information before this time.
Sebasco provides transportation from the Bath, ME bus station (Concord Trailways), to the resort. Or, if you are coming as a group into Portland, we will come and get the gang there!
Once on property, if you don't have a vehicle, we make a minimum of two trips a week to nearby towns/shops. If you have your own vehicle - you'll be pretty popular! We also have staff bikes for day use but having your own is always a great idea to get around.
We call this Pure Maine for a reason - if you love the outdoors, coastal breezes and incredible sunsets, then Sebasco is the place for you. We are incredible stewards of our environment, which sits on 450 acres in Phippsburg on the Popham Peninsula. This area was first discovered over 400 years ago and is a region rich in natural beauty, history and cultural attractions with spectacular Maine coastline, lakes and natural woodlands.
Activities abound for all ages. There are galleries and museums, professional theater performances, festivals and fairs, historic Maine lighthouses, and shopping in charming boutiques as well as factory outlet stores. There are many things to do in our beautiful part of the world. Have fun exploring!
