Our Jobs

Seasonal employment varies by position from April to October. Timbers, our restaurant, opens May 1st and the resort fully opens to guided fishing later in the month. We will schedule employees to arrive throughout April, May and June with plenty of time for orientation, training and set up.

Managed by Highgate Hotels LLC, Salmon Falls Resort provides a fun and adventure-filled summer for our guests and staff. We are looking for associates for various roles who are passionate and strive to make a difference for each and every guest and each other. Our associates will have the opportunity to experience beautiful Alaska in an area that offers fishing, hiking and so much more! We expect associates to live up to these standards while working and living within our compound. We give full consideration to every application received. We will do as many interviews in person as possible but may also choose to conduct those via telephone and/or SKYPE.

Most employees are paid by the hour, and time and one-half is paid for over eight hours per day, 40 hours per week. The normal workweek usually ranges from 40 to 54 hours, however, we do not guarantee this. There may be times when you will be asked to work more or less than the normal workweek, and you will be paid accordingly.
