    -Maintaining resort owned buildings, including our employee housing, which consists of 20 dorm rooms, an 18 room lodge, three duplexes and three houses. - Respond to staff and guests in an effective and prompt manner. -Maintain all mechanical areas as neat and orderly. -Inspect public areas on a daily basis for unexpected problems and preventive maintenance. -Maintain and repair public areas, guestrooms and buildings as assigned by staff and work orders. -Maintain mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, electrical issues, commercial washers and dryers, commercial kitchen equipment, and refrigeration. -Guarantee that projects are all promptly accomplished and in line with appropriate specifications. -Collaborate and connect with the front office and housekeeping managers to discuss aspects of operations which will involve the maintenance department. -Carry out consistent preventive maintenance programs on rooms and regularly update records on file. -Engage in flexible work schedules: Current schedule includes two weekday evenings and daytime through the weekends. -Assist in remodeling and construction of new projects as required. -Will be trained to maintain and service pool and spa areas including testing and recording as required by State, County and City regulations. To be effective on the job, maintenance technicians should possess the following qualities and qualifications: -A general knowledge of carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical with 2-5 years of practical experience in maintenance. -Pleasant demeanor with the ability to smile. This is important as we are in the hospitality business. -Ability to handle internal and external clients with high degree of tolerance, diplomacy, and tact. -Ability to kneel, bend, carry, walk, stoop, climb, and lift items up to 50 pounds, in addition to possessing manual skill & dexterity. -Commendable ability to manage stressful working situations. -Must be eligible to work in the United States.

We cook great food in a team first environment with an emphasis on training and knowledge building.
